The Way Forward: A Hacker’s View of Cyber Challenges Facing Canadian Enterprises
Canadian enterprises are facing unprecedented organizational risk from a range of cyber threats. Whether it’s the covert operations of nation states seeking to derive economic or political advantage, competitors seeking to tip the balance of power in hyper-competitive industries, or organized criminals holding our data for ransom, Canadian leaders must be more vigilant than ever before to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of their data. At the same time, we have entered a new era of digital transformation. To remain competitive and enter new markets Canadian businesses are under increasing pressure to digitize with agility. In some cases their failure to do so could spell their demise. As business and government leaders, how do we reconcile these competing forces?
Please join ISACA Vancouver, the CIO Association of Canada, the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC, our panel of senior technology and cybersecurity experts, and Kevin Mitnick, the World’s Most Famous Hacker to explore the risks we face and the strategies we should be considering to address them.
