Speaker: John Gray (CEO & co-founder) of Mentionmapp Analytics Inc. He’s a Communications Risk Analyst researching the spread of disinformation, and suggests, “the bad guys are winning. They have a playbook but no rulebook, while the good guys have a rulebook and no playbook.” He’s written numerous case studies, about the role of bots, trolls, and sockpuppets manipulating public perception. co-authored “The Ecosystem of Fake: Bots, Information and Distorted Realities,” and collaborated with journalists at publications like Reuters and Wired John has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Communications) and a B.A. (English) both from Simon Fraser University.
